Introduction to Dubai Logistics City

Dubai Logistics City (DLC) is the world’s first fully integrated logistics platform, combining all transport modes, logistics, and value-added services within a single customs-bonded Free Zone environment. Additionally, it is part of Dubai World Central, strategically located adjacent to the Jebel Ali Port and Free Zone, alongside the upcoming Dubai World Central International Airport.

Capacity and Facilities at DLC

DLC will handle over 12 million tonnes of air cargo annually. Moreover, it features a staff village set in landscaped surroundings, offering sports and leisure facilities, restaurants, shops, and services across 21.5 square kilometers. This area forms part of a 140-square-kilometer urban aviation community centered around Al Maktoum International Airport, which will become the world’s fourth-largest international airport. Currently, this airport is being built 40 kilometers south of Dubai International Airport.

Upon completion, DLC will include warehouses and plots of land dedicated to logistics, industry, trade, and distribution. The facilities will consist of:

• Up to 16 air cargo terminals, each averaging 30,000 square meters.
• Land plots designed for various logistics purposes, including industry and contract logistics.
• Shared forwarders’ warehouses and integrator facilities.
• An office park and a labour village for employees.
